Candle height: 4 in

Jack-o'-lanterns, ghosts, bats, moons and a sky full of stars, all the way round the candle, painted by you. Our first paint by numbers candle kit: two pillar candles, two numbered peel-off wraps (same spooky crowd, two different arrangements), four pots of Brushible candle paint and three brushes. Peel a number, paint it, peel the next. The picture shows up one piece at a time.

What's in the box

  • 2 unscented ivory pillar candles, 2⅝ in wide, in the height you choose: 4 in or 6 in
  • 2 numbered peel-off wraps, two different designs (39 pieces each, removable vinyl, comes off clean)
  • 4 numbered pots of Brushible Opaque Candle Paint
  • 3 brushes: one flat, one round, one fine
  • A colour key and a finished picture to peek at

The wrap does the outlines for you. Press it on, peel the piece marked 1, dab on colour 1, let it dry a few minutes, then peel the next number. The vinyl keeps every edge crisp. About an hour per candle, plus drying. An easy evening for a grown-up, a proud Halloween for a kid.

Meet Brushible Paint by Numbers Candles

Numbers to get you started. On wax.

no rules about where you end up.

A candle is a tiny canvas that doesn't stay still. Paint by numbers candles skip the scary bit: the wrap holds the picture in place, you hold the sponge, and somewhere around the fourth piece you stop following and start deciding.

Every kit is drawn in-house, cut from removable vinyl that peels off clean, and packed with Brushible candle paint that's made to sit on wax. Nothing smaller than a fingertip, so no squinting.

Follow the numbers until the picture shows up. Then swap a colour, peel two at once, add a bat. It's your candle now.
